Zambalescapade (Anawangin Cove, Zambales)

Two weeks ago, our highschool barkada had a trip to Zambales.

We left Tarlac at around 4AM. (Supposed it's 3:30 AM but it took us a bit late on packing up our things and the car had to be fueled up). We reached San Antonio, Zambales Port at around 8:30 AM (We exited at SCTEX Dinalupihan then took the local road to Zambales. It's the driver's choice. We can't do anything about it. Hahaha. That's why it took us for almost 4 and half hours)

Upon reaching the port, we waited for our boat. Our driver has a contact to the boatman so we did not have hard time finding one. But, we just waited for the boat for almost 30 minutes because.. I don't know why. Haha! We had our boat ride at 9 AM and decided to just have our island hopping the next day.

We reached Anawangin Cove at 9:30 AM. We paid Php 100 each person for the entrance fee. (We are 8, so we paid Php 800). When we found a good spot to put up our tents, we started assembling them. Then, we had our lunch and took some rest. At around 3 PM, we decided to invade the beach. Soaked our bodies to the cold water of the Anawangin beach, go with move of the waves and took pictures. At night, after having dinner, we put up a bonfire, and had fun playing spin the bottle.

The next day, we woke up early and packed up early for our island hopping. We left Anwangin Cove at 9 AM. Then headed straight to Camara Island. Such an amazing island. With it's white sand and aqua marine water. I didn't know how long we stayed there. But unfortunately, we weren't able to come to the next island which is the Capones Island because our friend was stung by a sea urchin. 😭😭 So yea, we headed back to the port, gave a little treatment to the sea urchin sting and went straight to the nearest Health Center.

And although accident happened, we still can't deny that this is a great trip. Travel with friends is always great and is incomparable. ❤️☀️🌊⛵️🏕⛺️🏝
